Moorcroft extends its RHS Rose Bouquet Collection

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced that Moorcroft, a leading name in the world of art pottery and a valued licensing partner of the RHS for a number of years, has produced three new additions to its RHS Rose Bouquet Collection, a beautiful line of art pottery designs inspired by roses

The three new items are:

A Whiter Shade of Pale
A vase whose design highlights the elegant Alba Semi-Plena rose. Perfectly formed, pure white rosettes clamber and climb across this vase.

A clock whose design is based on the Mutabilis rose, whose colour varies as it changes by the hour. This design harnesses the transition as the rose seeps from yellow to pink to coppery crimson.

A jug whose design highlights the beautiful climbing Mermaid rose, one of the most beautiful climbing roses, bearing large, white-fading-to-canary-yellow flowers with long, sulphur-yellow stamens.

All three pieces are limited editions. Fifty pieces of the vase are being made, 40 pieces of the clock and 30 pieces of the jug. Each will be back-stamped on the base with the RHS logo.

The new pieces launched in January. They are available at the Moorcroft Heritage Visitor Centre in Stoke-on-Trent and through all Moorcroft retailers both in the UK and abroad, including major stores, independents and china and glass retailers. They will also be available online at the Moorcroft website.

The original RHS Rose Bouquet Collection, which launched in May 2017, was composed of six designs, based on famous roses, appearing on vases, coasters and plaques. All pieces are designed by members of the small group of highly skilled artists who work within the prestigious Moorcroft Design Studio, using either the RHS Lindley Library’s world-famous botanical drawings or specially chosen roses as inspiration.
