Tableware International winners announced

At last night's debut Tableware International Awards of Excellence, held during Ambiente 2018, 16 tabletop companies were announced as winners

Yesterday evening, Lema Publishing's Tableware International held its debut Tableware International Awards of Excellence at Messe Frankfurt.

The event, which took place in Hall 4.2, during Ambiente 2018, and which attracted nearly 200 guests, was held to both celebrate the tabletop industry and to announce the final winners in the Tableware International Awards of Excellence 2018.

Some 48 finalists, the top three in each of the 16 categories, and selected by Tableware International's prestigious panel of Awards judges, were acknowledged during the awards, before the final 16 winners were revealed.

"We were delighted so many fantastic tabletop companies, retailers and industry experts attended the first Tableware International Awards of Excellence," says editor Kate Birch. "We had a fantastic evening celebrating excellence in tabletop and were honoured to pay tribute to the wonderful companies and people that make this industry what it is.

"We were also delighted that so many of our international judges were able to attend, retailers joining us from as far afield as Canada, the Philippines, Greece and Russia.

"We would love to thank everyone who supported us in these debut awards, from the panel of 23 international judges, to our awards sponsors, and the more than 100 tabletop companies who entered and supported the awards."

A special thank you goes out to Messe Frankfurt and the Ambiente show, in particular, which hosted the event.

The 16 winners will also be featured in the Awards Winners supplement, which will be distributed with the March/April issue of Tableware International.
