Coats of arms and surname histories a hit with retailers and customers

The great British weather has left a lot to be desired over the last few months but the sun has been shining on Hall of Names retailers, who report excellent sales results and customer feedback.

At Buckfast Abbey, the Retail Manager has described Hall of Names as a 'golden egg', and a crucial part of the business.

Wendy Spencer, Director of Hall of Names says "we are delighted with the positive comments from retailers all over the country, and have just undertaken free trials at three new outlets. Customers love to find out about their names' origins our stunning 'coat of arms and surname history' scrolls make an affordable and unique choice".

Hall of Names proudly offers retailers a free trial, allowing them to 'try before they buy', as well as full and ongoing training, as Wendy has recently been undertaking at the glorious Warwick Castle. Wendy continues, "the simplicity of our system is what retailers like. Customers simply find their name in one of our books (containing a database of over a million surnames), and the retailer prints it out onto a parchment scroll. Profit margins are high and customer interaction is maximised".

The stunning range of personalised gifts has also been on show recently at the Gloucester Tall Ships event, and at the Bath and West Show, where figures were up significantly on the previous two years. With a trial scheduled at Canterbury Tales and a new installation planned at Gloucester City & Folk Museum, the brand is moving from strength to strength, as retailers recognise the lucrative potential that Hall of Names offers.
