St Eval gets accredited
The St Eval Candle Company has announced that it is now ISO 9001-2008
accredited.
After a rigorous approval process from the International Organisation
for Standardisation (ISO) regulatory body QAS International, the company
was awarded the full certification.
St Eval applied to QAS International to recognise the efficiency of its administration systems. The accreditation demonstrates its dedication to using logical, well-documented management systems, and is something within which they take great pride.
Managing director Ian Greaves said: "We're delighted to have received such an important accreditation and it gives us a benchmark to continually strive to maintain. It also gives customers and suppliers peace of mind that their comments, queries and complaints will be handled in a highly efficient manner."
ISO accreditation puts in place a set of procedures that cover all key areas of the business and monitors them to make sure they're effective. It covers keeping accurate records, checking all outgoing material for irregularities and regularly reviewing processes and the whole quality system for effectiveness.
The quality policy is a formal statement that is closely linked to the business, marketing plan and customer needs. The policy is followed by the St Eval Candle Company at all levels and is regularly reviewed.
