Fair due
The organiser of Spring Fair International, Emap Connect, has unveiled
plans for the 2011 exhibition.
Building on the success of Spring Fair International 2010, which saw
71,239 retailers come through the doors with a combined buying budget of
£14.8 billion, the fair in 2011 will once again benefit from a major
investment in new features and an influx of fantastic new exhibitors and
companies returning to the event.
Some 3,000 companies have already signed up to join the 2011 show, including 500 new exhibitors and 400 international suppliers, who between them will launch some 300,000 brand new products to the trade at Spring Fair International.
The managing director of Emap Connect Home & Gift, Louise Young says: “Spring Fair attracts one of Europe’s largest gatherings of retailers at a crucial time in the buying calendar. The new initiatives and crowd-pulling features are crucial to the development and expansion of Spring Fair International, as we continue in our quest to create a home and gift event that is more vibrant, more inspiring and more cosmopolitan – a show that makes our industry proud.”
In a renewed collaboration with the Giftware Association, the Gift of the Year Awards will be announced on Sunday February 6 during the exhibition, at the Gift of the Year Showcase, garden and retail lounge in Hall 3. Visitors will be the first to see the winning and highly commended products in one of the industry’s most prestigious competitions.
