Gift Republic is London Business of the Year

Gift Republic has been crowned Business of the Year at the Archant London Business Awards 2010.

The Wimbledon-based company was awarded the title after the judges were impressed by its growth strategy through 2010.

Gift Republic has already been Highly Commended in this year's Gift of the Year for its Adopt a Meerkat range.

Managing director Sam Wahid said: "We are delighted that all of the team's hard work has paid off and we are recognised as the best business in London. This award will certainly help the Gift Republic growth strategy going forward and shows what a hugely innovate and dynamic team we have."

The ceremony, which was held at the Planit Embankment Gardens in November, saw entertainment from X Factor winner Steve Brookstein and girl band Lola from The Only Way is Essex.
