Autumn Fair arrives
The organiser of Autumn Fair International (AFI), Emap Connect has
announced a 25% increase in exhibitors to this year's show - over 1,500
exhibitors.
This includes 900 exclusive exhibitors, who will join 150 international
suppliers from 31 countries and 400 brand new exhibitors across eight
product sectors.The show will kick off at the Birmingham NEC from September 5, running for four days.
Building on the success of AFI 2009 and Spring Fair International (SFI) 2010, which both saw a strong rise in visitor numbers, pre-registration for AFI 2010 has already doubled compared with this time last year and is still growing strongly.
This year's AFI will also be buzzing with new and improved feature areas, including a full-scale Fashion Accessories catwalk, expanded Cook Live! demonstration zone, Gift of the Year Award 2010 showcase and New Product display areas, all in Hall 4.
Celebrity spotters should keep their eyes peeled for a number of famous faces dotted around the halls at AFI. TV chef James Martin, of Ready Steady Cook fame will hold court at Cook Live! on the Monday, while a long (and hopefully orderly!) queue of ladies looks set to form on the Pyramid International stand on the same day as Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle appears to promote his new calendar.
