A Forum For Success

This year’s Harrogate Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival boasts an amazing line up of retail experts

Harrogate’s Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival is known for its fantastic business opportunities as much as for brilliant buying – and this year is no exception.

For 2016 Home & Gift’s successful retail insight programme is back as The Great Northern Retail Forum and it’s looking stronger than ever.

This year’s inspiring line-up includes speakers from John Lewis and Google plus a keynote from Michelin star chef Tom Kerridge, currently working in partnership with locally based company, the Great British Exchange.

Taking place over three days from Sunday 17 to Tuesday 19 July you will find a fantastic mix of retail experts and inspirational speakers who will arm you with everything you need to make your business thrive.

Located upstairs in the heart of the HIC, The Forum sits alongside the new ‘Gifts For All’ area (Hall D).

Google’s Retail Industry Manager David Green will give an overview of how the UK’s Home and Gifting market is changing online. Katherine Owen Fowler, from John Lewis, York, will show you how to effectively use merchandising and display to inspire the customer, and celebrity chef Tom Kerridge discusses his passion for British manufacturing and reveals the incredible craftsmanship behind his new range of cookware products.

Other highlights include workshops from social media strategist and author, Warren Knight, panel discussions by the Prince’s Trust and business case studies from the Portmeirion Group.

This year Home & Gift takes place from 17 to 20 July and will feature more than 850 exhibitors with over 150 new suppliers.
