Ashleigh & Burwoods’ high-tech range of ultrasonic diffusers made an appearance earlier this week on Channel 5’s The Gadget show, aired on 12 October 2015.

Channel 5’s The Gadget Show took a trip to the spa this week for their versus challenge, rivalling traditional spa treatments with the latest spa and beauty gadgets. Presenters Jon and Jason headed to the Daffodil Spa in the Lake District, with their gadgets in tow to see if they could beat the pros in three key areas: massage, nail art and skincare.

Two willing test subjects, twins Francesca and Chloe helped Team Gadget to reach their verdict. Whilst traditional spa treatments were tested on Francesca, her sister Chloe got to experience the spa and beauty gadgets. Round one was massage, and Jon and Jason were interested to see if the gadgets could rival spa treatments in terms of relaxation levels.

The two girls were hooked up to brain monitoring headbands in order to determine any change in their levels of relaxation. Whilst Chloe sank into a massage chair, Jon switched on three Amora Scent Hubs – Apollo, Calliope and Terra, to add “to the ambience by delivering calming light and scent”. The hubs went down a treat as traditional treatments only managed to increase Francesca’s relaxation by 7%, whilst Amora together with the massage chair helped to boost Chloe’s relaxation levels by 13%.

The show, which is now available to view on the Channel 5 The Gadget Show website, also starred British Formula One racer, Lewis Hamilton.
