Argos moves into Sainsbury's

Argos will open 10 digital stores in Sainsbury’s in a bid to reach more customers.

The catalogue company wants to “bring extra choice and convenience” to customers of both shops, reports Retail Week.

Company chiefs say that the new digital stores, which will be open summer, will offer a choice of more than 20,000 non-food products, to be bought instantly in-store via tablets, or reserved online for collection the same day or the following day.

A further range of 40,000 products can also be ordered in-store for home delivery.
