Autumnal accessory trends at Ambiente’s sister show

This August in Frankfurt am Main, Tendence, one of the leading international trade fair for Giving and Living consumer goods showcases essential extras, trending colour schemes, latest novelties and top selling additions to retail collections.

More than 350 international exhibitors from the Accessories and Jewellery product group will display the designs and trends for 2015/16 across four days, 29 August–1 September.

Just in time for the Christmas trade and delivering a preview for the 2016 spring and summer trends, exhibitors at Tendence serve up accessory ideas for furniture stores, museums, concept stores, ceramic retailers and gift stores, big or small. As supplementary product lines in stores, accessories are now even more popular than before. It is now not usual to find handbags, jewellery, gift items and personal accessories as added extras in the arms of browsing customers.

Thinking a season ahead helps to generate your sales and increase the excitement over your retail Christmas collections! For autumn and winter 2015, opposites certainly attract in the accessory trends. Exhibitors at Tendence serve up black as the unquestionable colour theme, only ever mixed with white or grey. The contrasting colours are seen in bold shades of blue, bright or warm reds and tasty mustard yellow.

Already a summery trend, the adhesive tattoo continues to rock the winter trends in metallic gold and silver by replacing or adding to jewellery, decorating and enhancing fingers, wrists and cleavages. Seen in the jewellery trends, comes boho chic! Visitors will see large pendants, large creole earrings, ethnic necklaces and more.

Classic leather or coloured material handbags are beautified with detailed seams, zips and small colourful applications taking a regular bag to a high-end urban design. While handbags are upgraded with small elegant colourful accents, scarves and shawls are animal prints, warm wool materials and contrasting sixties bold patterns.

As if that isn’t enough to fill a trade buyer’s order book, the bow tie is back. And this time, not just for men – the bowtie transformed into elegant yet extravagant designs dependent on the mood. Wood, wool, crocheted or knitted, the bowtie is a statement piece for any fashion conscious individual.
