Book a Trend Tour at Exclusively

Look through the eyes of the consumer by joining one of the Scarlet Opus Trend Tours at Exclusively Housewares, which takes place 14-15 June 2018

One of the UK’s premier trade shows for housewares, Exclusively Housewares and sister show Exclusively Electrical, which takes place in the Business Design Centre, London, from 12-13 June, announces its Trend Tours for 2018.

Easy to navigate, London-based and just two days, the Exclusively Shows attract buyers from all the major grocery and department stores, along with garden centre buyers, internet retailers and specialist cook shops, giving them the opportunity to see the latest Gifting Christmas collections for 2018 and trends through into 2019.

At the upcoming show, retailers and buyers can join a Scarlet Opus Trend Tour, which is quite simply “an edited version of the show looking through the eyes of the consumer”, says Simon Boyd, show director.

The Scarlet Opus team searches through every exhibitor’s portfolio and select just 10 items/suppliers that reflect and meet the future wants needs and desires of consumers.

They present the product, explaining fully why it should be on retail shelves. Groups of five to eight people then go on a 40-minute Tour of the show floor to see the selected products. The Trend Tour takes attendees to see the ‘key items/must haves’.

'Knowing the specific detail of the design trends is invaluable information for buyers to have, enabling them to make more informed purchasing decisions,' says Phil Pond of Scarlet Opus. 'The use of trend intelligence enables retailers to buy less and sell more, for example, stock a narrower range of products that have high appeal to consumers and consequently lift sales.'
