Dodo Pad still King of the Diaries

Dodo at the top after 50 years.

The year 1966 was a pretty busy one; England won the World Cup, Harold Wilson’s Labour party won the General Election – and the first Dodo Pad hatched.

Fast forward 50 years and, while memories of that emphatic win over West Germany continue to flood back during every international football tournament, it’s the iconic diary brand that is proving it really can stand the test of time.

The 2016 Dodo Pad range – complete with its opulent gold and purple covers – is a fitting tribute to the rich history of the much-loved brand and Managing Director Rebecca Jay said she was delighted to announce that it is still officially the UK’s number one diary.

She added: “With 2016 marking the 50th anniversary of the beloved Dodo Pad, it’s an honour still to be king of the diary world – and Lord Dodo is pulling no punches when it comes to keeping his rightful crown out of the hands of the competition.”

According to Amazon, the 2016 Dodo Pad is the out and out leader of the pack when it comes to desk diaries – boxing away the competition from other big hitters including the ever-popular Royal Horticultural Society, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, Marvel Comics and The Simpsons just to name but a few.
