'Dream Dozen' announced: the top Christmas toys of 2011

Yesterday saw the announcement of the of The Toy Retailers Association's Dream Dozen. The list of cherry-picked toys is a industry-respected recognition of the toys set to make the top sales in the crucial run up to Christmas.

Securing a place in the top dozen were hot products from expected favourites Mattel, Leapfrog, Hasbro, and Flair.

Also making it on the list were VTech, Lego, John Adams and Character.
