Caroline set to open first two flagship retail stores with new limited edition label

OPENING two flagship retail stores is how Caroline Gardner plans to move the brand forward and showcase her new CG label.

As part of continued brand development, founder Caroline is opening the shops in top London shopping destinations Kings Road and Marylebone High Street over the next month, which will stock predominately limited edition lines that she has designed for the new label.

Thirty per cent of the stock is to be a selection of core greetings cards, gift wrap, bags, ribbons, stationery, homeware and accessories, with the rest made up of limited edition CG label products specially designed by Caroline including leather handbags and wallets, silk scarves, cushions, ceramics, glassware, jewellery and personalised stationery.

MD Angus Gardner said: “We’re using these prime retail locations to showcase our brand and demonstrate the very essence of Caroline Gardner, furthering our status as an aspirational brand.

“The stores will attract consumer PR which will encourage people to seek out our product across the country, and also give us the chance to trial new products, which will be a great advantage to our trade customers.”

The company statement added: “A physical destination will attract consumer PR that will drive customers to seek out the Caroline Gardner brand in our many independent retailers across the UK and abroad.

“Successful brands lead the market but, to maintain this position, they need to create and maintain consumer interest, and appeal, by evolving.”
