Pintail Candles has been manufacturing beautifully fragranced container candles in the Lake District for almost 20 years and the national and internationally renowned business continues to develop and grow through outstanding British craftsmanship and innovation.
Each premium-quality candle features a multi-lingual Fix-a-Form from Denny Bros detailing all-important usage and safety instructions.
There are nine separate languages options included in the re-sealable Fix-a-Form which is applied to the base of the product for repeat reference throughout the life of the candle.
Much of the company's marketing success can be put down to its extensive range of filled tins and glass holders - there are almost 100 fragrances on offer and the candles are variously sold under Pintail Candles and other own brand names in high street multiples.
Around 30% of the company's turnover is export sales and this significant slice of revenue is expanding as the directors develop new and emerging markets.
James Long of Pintail Candles explains how the company is keeping the focus on its export sales growth. He says: "Even in these tough economic times, candles are still an affordable luxury and people are using them in ever increasing numbers for home entertaining and as gift ideas.
At the moment, export sales are very encouraging indeed. We are selling a growing number of our British-made candles to Europe, particularly to France, Italy and Spain, while at the same time supplying countries that are perhaps a little more surprising - like Dubai.
