Gibsons team up with Rubik's Cube

Company are thrilled to announce they have teamed up with Rubik’s Cube to launch a brand new, 500 piece jigsaw puzzle that has been inspired by the iconic 80s toy

The puzzle is the latest addition to Gibsons’ successful Iconic Brands Collection, the range of gift puzzles that take beloved brands, such as Marmite, VW and Pringles, and transform them into challenging jigsaws that are presented in larger-than-life packaging.

First created in 1974 by Professor of Architecture Erno Rubik, the Rubik’s Cube is more than just a toy – it’s a mathematical wonder, a competitive pursuit and an emblem of the 1980’s. Gibsons have taken the iconic magic cube and turned it into a devilishly difficult, double-sided, 500-piece impossi-puzzle that is sure to test even the most advanced jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts.

Emily Charles, Gibsons’ Product Development Manager states: “Rubik’s Cube was the perfect brand for us as the iconic shape is so easily recognisable and loved by so many. Moreover, we wanted to create a jigsaw puzzle that was just as tricky as the cube itself, and we have definitely achieved this with the double sided impossi-puzzle – it’s not for the faint-hearted!”

Rubik’s Cube will be available in January 2018.
