Kenro launches new trade website

The photo and digital products distributor, Kenro, has launched a new trade website, aimed at making it easier for retailers and trade users to order stock.

The family run company, established 43 years ago, has an enviable reputation for service and supply of quality goods to the photographic and gift sectors.

Kenro is a major distributor of its own branded gift frames and albums and photographic accessories, as well as the official UK and Ireland importer/distributor of Takeway, Marumi, Nissin, Braun and Reflecta branded products.

After more than a year of consultation and development work, Kenro have launched a trade eCommerce website that provides dealers with a 24-hour ordering facility for all their products - with fast shipping on all in-stock items. All standard orders received by 1pm (Monday-Friday) will be dispatched the same day.

Styling has a clean, contemporary look and navigation is very simple, giving customers with a trade account an easier way to search, check stock levels, order and re-order goods any time, day or night.

After receiving your unique login, trade customers may check prices, search for product availability in real-time, add items to their shopping cart, check the order total (to enable free shipping), place and track the order and then receive an electronic invoice for payment within the usual credit terms.

Upon re-ordering, customers may check their order history and use Fast Line Order Entry to make the process a breeze. Products can also be added to your favourites so you can reach them quickly in future.

Prices are not shown on the new website, unless you are logged in.

Those trade customers who were already signed up to the previous online order system may still use the same login details. A user guide is available in the FAQ section at the foot of the new website.

Kenro is also using a number of social media platforms to promote and enhance the company's web profile on an ongoing basis - with links from the Kenro homepage to their profiles on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube.

Says Paul Kench, Kenro's managing director: "We have listened to our trade customers and taken on board their comments. I'm confident our new trade website will better meet the needs of those who need to place orders at a time that suits them. Product descriptions are better and stock availability is more up to date, as well as a much cleaner and easier way to make the ordering process more enjoyable."

"All our products listed on the website can be added to your order by simply clicking the 'Add To Order' button at the bottom of the page - just like you'd do when purchasing from a public e-commerce site. Alternatively, if you know the SKU you can add products quickly, just as in the previous system."

"We are also in the process of adding demonstration videos for our most popular products that dealers may share from their own website in order to help generate increased sales."

Kenro will be displaying their extensive range of gift albums and gift frames on stand K05 (Hall 5) at the Autumn Fair, 6-9 September, Birmingham NEC.
