Maison et Object success for Yankee Candle

Yankee Candle, a leading home fragrance manufacturer has announced record sales at Maison et Objet this September.

Gifts Today understands that the total sum of orders taken at the trade fair were over 500% higher than the same show last year.

Further, Yankee Candle has recently appointed a new sales manager for the French market, Kate Varol.  Kate heads a team of agents and this was her first trade show in her new role, although she brings a wealth of experience having previously worked in the gift industry for ten years.

A euphoric Clive Harper, managing director, Yankee Candle Europe told Gifts Today: “I am thrilled with the response we have received from retailers at this trade show. The increase in orders is phenomenal making this the most successful Maison et Objet yet.”

Needless to say the company will be exhibiting at Maison et Objet in January 2012.
