Media campaign for Paddington Movie range

Rainbow Designs has announced small and large screen media advertising plans in support of their new Paddington Movie range of feature plush toys

As the UK eagerly awaits the anticipated release of the new Paddington 2 movie that is set to premiere in cinemas on 10 November 2017, exclusive adverts for the new fun-packed Paddington Movie range are also scheduled for a TV campaign throughout autumn.

The advert which launched in September for the exciting new range will receive a further two weeks of air time covering the October half term. Starring two of the new 2017 feature plush lines; Dancing Paddington and Cycling Paddington along with a range favourite; ‘My Name is Paddington’, the campaign features both 10 and 20 second adverts and covers popular channels such as Disney Junior, Milkshake, Nick Jr and Tiny Pop and will generate 500+ TVR’s.

In addition to the TV campaign, a comprehensive cinema advertising campaign is also in place. A 30 second commercial will appear on Pearl & Dean cinema screens for four weeks, week commencing 30 October and span the premiere of the film. The cinema advert will air in the lead up to films including Paddington2, My Little Pony, The Little Vampire and The Lego Ninjago Movie reaching an estimated audience of 1.3 million.

Suzie Howes, Head of Licensing and Marketing at the Home of Classic Characters said: 'This is the first time Rainbow has put such a TV campaign in place but the timing and audience is perfect and with such a fantastic product range we wanted to ensure it was supported it in the marketplace in the best way possible.'
