Midsummer Night at Tendence

On the evening of the first day, 24 June, Tendence invites all visitors and exhibitors to the ‘Portalhaus’ of the Exhibition Centre for a convivial midsummer get-together

It's just one of the ways the organisers ensure everyone has a great show.

Special hotel arrangements
Despite its reputation, hotel accommodation in Frankfurt am Main need not to be expensive. Exclusively for visitors of Tendence 2017, Messe Frankfurt and the Frankfurt Hotel Alliance offer a new Overnight Package: visitors can book selected 4 and 5 star hotels within walking distance of the fair from € 99 a night – including breakfast, a welcome drink and WLAN. To whet their appetite for the fair, guests will also find a copy of the latest Tendence pop-up magazine in their room.

Digital services
The Tendence website at is the heart of the fair’s digital services. There, visitors can quickly, easily and inexpensively book admission tickets for the fair, as well as find tips for travelling to and from the Exhibition Centre. This includes, for example, cheaper airfares, parking, baggage service and the shuttle-bus between the airport and fair. But that is not all: the entire visit can also be planned using the website. Visitors wanting to know which individual companies are exhibiting at Tendence can obtain full information via the online exhibitor search engine. Additionally, the interactive plan of the fair helps them find the shortest way over the Exhibition Centre while the digital event calendar shows when and where lectures, workshops and shows are being held in the exhibition halls.

Cafés and restaurants
The many cafés and restaurants scattered throughout the Exhibition Centre are also ideal places for visitors to take a creative break. Whether South American, Scandinavian or Mediterranean cuisine, the restaurants and snack bars offer culinary delights for all tastes. For example, vegan dishes are on the menu of the redesigned Restaurant Centro in the foyer of Hall 9.0.
Vegan dishes are also on offer at Restaurant ‘Centro’ in the foyer of Hall 9.0

New: charging stations for electric cars
Messe Frankfurt offers a special service for visitors who come to Frankfurt in an electric car: they can recharge their car’s battery free of charge at the Rebstock multi-storey car park (Type 2 plug). They only have to pay the normal parking fee.
