All infringing products, with a combined weight of more than 30 tons, have now been taken to a bonded police warehouse. With further raids planned, on both a national and international basis, it is anticipated the haul of illegal goods will surpass 1,000,000 pieces. Early estimates indicate that the products could have achieved more than €6,000,000 at trade.

The products are all copies of Santoro’s Gorjuss brand, a heartfelt and captivating collection of gifts, stationery, homewares and accessories. The collection has a strong and loyal international fan base, and features endearing original artworks which are created and owned by Santoro. As a premium lifestyle brand, Santoro are singled out due to the popularity and strength at retail of their collections.

Commenting from the company’s London Head Office, CEO & Chairman Lucio Santoro stated “As has been clearly demonstrated, Santoro will take decisive and swift action against infringers and against any stockists of infringing products, and will not hesitate to prosecute illegal and unauthorised use of our Intellectual Property. We would like to thank the Spanish authorities for their continued support and partnership throughout this operation.”
