New National Gallery range from Classic Canes

Walking stick specialist announces a new collection of 12 walking sticks and folding canes produced under licence by the National Gallery Company, London.

The new range will be launched at Spring Fair International on the Classic Canes stand (20K10-L11).

Three patterns have been developed based on Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers (1888), Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder’s A Still Life of Flowers in a Wan-Li Vase (1609-1610) and George Stubbs’ Whistlejacket (about 1762), all copyright of the National Gallery Company, London.

Managing Director Charlotte Gillan said, 'It is an honour to work with the National Gallery Company to produce walking sticks based on these world famous paintings. We think they will be of great interest to our stockists around the world and hope they will introduce Classic Canes to other retailers here and abroad who have not sold walking sticks before.'

Judith Mather from the National Gallery Company said, 'We are very excited that Classic Canes has produced these beautiful, high quality walking sticks. The paintings are replicated beautifully and they are a great addition to the licensing programme.'
