New Area Sales Manager for Paul Lamond

The leading games and puzzles specialist strengthens its position in the industry with the appointment

Paul Lamond Games welcomes David Meier on board to work with retailers in East Anglia, the South East and parts of the Midlands.

David brings a wealth of experience to Paul Lamond having worked in field sales within the greetings card industry for almost a decade. Prior to joining Paul Lamond, the company behind classic family games such as Perudo, What’s Up and Yes/No, David worked for Cardmix and Carte Blanche.

The 35-year-old says he is extremely impressed by Paul Lamond’s licences and is really looking forward to meeting the retailers. 'Paul Lamond has such a great range of games and puzzles featuring some really interesting and exciting licences. 'I’m keen to get to know what’s important to the retailers we work with, to find out how they operate and to see how Paul Lamond can fit into that. I’m fortunate to be joining a great team and a well-established company, and I look forward to playing my part in Paul Lamond’s future growth and ongoing success,' said David.

Richard Wells, Paul Lamond’s Managing Director is delighted to welcome David to the team. 'David brings a wealth of valuable sales experience to Paul Lamond and there are some distinct crossovers with his former roles and this one. We’re pleased to be able to offer the retailers in his areas the insight, knowledge and customer care that David can deliver,' added Richard.

Major launches from Paul Lamond in 2017 include the Now That’s What I Call Music board game, the Who Dares Wins board game based on the hit TV show, and the Jamie Raven Magic range. Also new this autumn are Highway Rat puzzles and games featuring the characters from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s rhyming tale, and four new jigsaw puzzles from David Walliams starring characters from his hilarious children’s novels.

Next month will see more than 120 of the world’s most skillful Perudo players battle it out in the 28th Perudo World Championships organised by Paul Lamond Games. Players from around the world will descend upon the capital for their chance to be crowned the 2017 Perudo Champion.
