Nintendo earns Pyramid a B&LLA nomination

Well-known greetings licences among names on awards shortlist

Pyramid are celebrating as their Nintendo SNES range has been shortlisted in the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards.

In the Best Brand Licensed Gifting Product Or Range category, Pyramid’s Nintento SENS Gift Range is pitted against six others, including Portico Designs’ Eden Project Garden Gifting.

And a number of licences well known in the gift and greetings industry make appearances with Matthew Williamson – with whom Museums & Galleries work on stationery and card ranges – shortlisted for a brand award with wallpaper from Osborne & Little as well as the Best Licensed Fashion Or Talent Brand in the property sector.

And Sara Miller, whose licensed cards are offered by The Art File, is up for the Best Brand Licensed Fashion Accessories or Lifestyle Product or Range with her London Silk Collection from My Gifts Trade.

In the Best Licensed Heritage Or Institution Brand category, M&G clients British Museum and the Victoria & Albert Museum are shortlisted alongside the Royal Horticultural Society, who have a licensing deal with UK Greetings, plus Help For Heroes, who sell dated products through Carousel Calendars.

And on the retail side, Moonpig and Paperchase are among the seven finalists vying for the Best Specialist Retailer Brand Licensed Execution.

The B&LLA reward excellence in product innovation, brand licensing management as well as retail execution within the ever evolving brand and lifestyle licensing arena, and this year’s winners will be revealed at the Dorchester Hotel, London on Thursday 26 April 2018.
