PaperAwards AW18 winners announced

Public vote picks Emily Brooks, Katie Leamon and Wanderlust Paper

After two weeks of public voting, the greetings and stationery industry have picked their favourite entries for the 2018 A/W PaperAwards at Top Drawer.

Sponsored by G.F Smith, the winners of the three categories have been announced as Emily Brooks, Katie Leamon and Wanderlust Paper Co, whose work will be showcased at the event when it opens on Sunday, September 9, along with the six runners up, and six other finalists.

The PaperAwards support and recognise the creativity and innovation of the talented exhibitors at this month's edition of Top Drawer, which runs through to Tuesday at London’s Olympia.

Emily Brooks won the Exciting Use Of Colour category for the creative ways the designer has used print to translate the designs using a combination of innovation and exploration to engage with the customer.

The award for Emotive Design went to Katie Leamon, for use of colour, lines, shape, form, texture and light, and Wanderlust Paper Co came top in Engaging Print, showing how designs use colours that help tell the story of the submitted range.

The runners-up were The Completist and Rhombus And Pineapple in Exciting Use Of Colour, Stormy Knight and Pressed & Folded in Emotive Design, and 1973 and UWP Luxe in Engaging Print.

Each winner will receive a prize including £250 worth of print from Century Studios, £500 worth of business coaching and HR consultancy, and paper from GF Smith.
