Record-breaking Stationery Show

The stats are in for this year’s celebrated trade event

The sixth annual London Stationery Show was a high flyer in many senses.

Visitor numbers were up 27 per cent on 2015, and the number of exhibition stands also rose by 15 per cent as compared to last year’s event.

Entries for the Stationery Awards increased by more than 100 products and visitors from a whopping 43 countries journeyed to attend the showcase.

Exhibition director, Chris Leonard-Morgan, said: ‘Just about everyone who is anyone in the stationery market seemed to be at last week’s show.’

Stationery Awards judge, Louisa Brenton, gift and stationery buyer at Bentalls, Fenwick Kingston, added: ‘I was very impressed by the calibre of product at the show and it was good to see a lot more gifting orientated product on display.’

Next year’s show takes place on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 April at London’s Business Design Centre.
