Robot brands debut at Pure

Urban lifestyle labels launch first unique collection for men at show

Lifestyle and Livingetc journalist and consultant Neil McLennan has revealed that robots will be the Christmas gift trend this festive season and Robot Brands is ready to deliver the goods. Find them today at Pure on Stand L53.

Robot Brands will launch its SS2018 menswear collection of t-shirt and sweatshirt designs, hoodies, caps and hats, together with accessories such as phone covers, luggage tags and a new extension to the brand portfolio, stationery.

Robot Brands first stepped out in the late Summer of 2016 with a soft launch via pop-up stores in London’s Shoreditch and subsequently Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre in December 2016. The stores were enhanced by a state of the art virtual reality shopping experience and at the London store, a custom made soundtrack delivered by underground house DJ Kelvin Andrews.

Visitors were encouraged to take selfies with the brand’s robot and helped generate social media interest for the duration of the event. Customer feedback was overwhelmingly positive for the cool street wear vibe, which taps into the ever-increasing shift for artificial intelligence to cross over into daily life.

The high geek rating of AI and robot-related merchandise has not prevented support on social media from an audience that includes motor sport professionals, tech heads, skateboarders and, crucially, urban streetwear enthusiasts.

Kavanagh, who has a long and successful career in consumer brand development, comments: ‘'Robots are on track to become part of everyday life in the very near future and our brand is unique in its focus on the lifestyle potential of this major cultural shift. Our focus is to deliver a brand for tomorrow, not the past. We are now ready for the full trade launch of Robot Brands to retailers and distributors attending Pure London.'
