Last call for Pink Fair 2017

Volunteer organiser Sally Pavey, of Lesser & Pavey, wants companies to apply for stalls

Beat cancer through shopping! The Pink Fair starts the Christmas charity fair circuit this year, running on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September.

Last year the fair raised just under £8,000 for Cancer Research UK Brighton Laboratories and Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity with the shopping bags leaving the venue speaking volumes of the money spent at the fair.

This year the fair changes venue to Parkside, the conference rooms of West Sussex and Horsham District Councils, in Horsham, West Sussex, and becomes an official fundraiser for Cancer Research.

'We are looking for companies to apply for stalls offering gifts, food, drink, home interior, jewellery, stationery, imagery, fashion and accessories,' said Sally Pavey, volunteer fair organiser, pictured at the 2016 fair with the Cancer Research team and Horsham MP Jeremy Quin.  'To ensure a kaleidoscope of products are on offer to shoppers, a selection process will take place the first week of April.

All money raised is donated to Cancer Research UK Brighton Laboratories that work tirelessly to find cures for cancer.

'We invite trader to consider taking part in the event as together we can beat cancer through shopping as every stallholder donates 10% of takings to the cause.'
