Shop and trend talk take centre stage at Pulse

Iconic trade show is set to showcase enviable line-up

As the hundreds of gift and home brands that exhibit there can attest to, Pulse prides itself on being summer’s largest design-led retail event.

The influential trade show is now just weeks away, and news is in on some of the cutting edge design trends that will be featured throughout the three-day extravaganza.

Identified and selected by retail experts including Fashion Trend Consultant Claire Foster and Trend Agency, Unique Style Platform (USP), they include the ‘Maximalist’ trend – described as a vivid mix of creativity and craft.

Other major trend talking points at the show will include clean, balanced ‘Modernist’ styling and ‘Coastal Simplicity’ which incorporates eclectic, rustic materials – from bleached natural wood to worn enamel.

And then there’s the cracking line-up of show speakers, including Liz Sylvester, Head of Visual Identity at Liberty of London (pictured), and Kathryn Tyler, co-founder of Digital Mums.

Pulse is on at Olympia London from 15 to 17 May. For more information log onto:
