Stationery style at Museums & Galleries

Museums & Galleries heads to Birmingham with their largest number of new stationery and gift product formats ever, and with established product categories thoroughly refreshed. Find them in Hall 2, stand G30-H31

The charge is led by M&G’s key license, BBC Earth, with the company’s other major licences the V&A, Tate, Natural History Museum, and Matthew Williamson strongly represented, as well as featuring new licences (for stationery and gifts) The Tiger Who Came To Tea, Roald Dahl, EM Dinkel Alphabets, MinaLima Classics and Wild Press.

At the higher price points are new Folding Storage Boxes and crystal Paperweights. The premium new large - format folding box can be stored and transported flat. The boxes feature stunning all-over print on the outer and the liner, and feature brass-effect label holders and magnetic closures.

The crystal paperweight collection features eight designs from Matthew Williamson and the V&A, British Museum and the Natural History Museum. This new product introduces a classic, lasting gift into the M&G range. With a beautiful eye-catching image under a clear crystal dome, each paperweight is packaged in a sturdy lined box with bellyband.

Four new coloured pencil sets join the HB pencil sets launched last year. Brands include BBC Earth (pictured), Paddington Bear, Edward Lear from the V&A, and Dinosaurs from the Natural History Museum. Accompanying the boxed sets are six organic cotton pencil cases including all of the above and also the Hokusai Wave from the British Museum and a second design – a tiger print – from BBC Earth. There are three new HB pencil sets.

Launched last spring and extended in the summer, M&G’s hit bamboo travel mugs collection is extended again by a further five designs.

M&G’s journal and notebook collection also sees exciting developments – there are new format stitched notebooks and notebook sets, and two new magnetic memopads with incorporated pencils. Travel Journals and Perpetual Planner Diaries are new, using the format of the A5 Luxury Notebooks. A premium Ringbound organizer is new, with each organizer (four designs total) containing three tabbed sections with undated planner pages, lined pages, and dotted grid pages. There are also four new ringbound Weekly Desk Planners. An M&G long-standing favourite, their Year Planner Diaries, have been redesigned for 2020/21 to eliminate the use of plastics.
