Top Drawer’s Latest Specialist Event

Paperfest to take centre stage at stylish retail event’s autumn/winter 2016 edition

Top Drawer has announced that it is incorporating specialist event Paperfest into its world class Stationery & Greetings section from this September.

Top Drawer is the leading curated show in the world for this sector, attracting the very best UK and international design-led brands, including: 1973, Ohh Deer, Notable Designs, Go Stationery, The Art File, U Studio, Noi Publishing, Stone Marketing, Susan O’Hanlon and Wrap.

Paperfest has grown from small beginnings after starting life in 2012 in a studio in Clerkenwell to now being a sell-out event, and adding it to the Top Drawer roster will allow it to flourish further still. Plus it will provide visitors with a truly inspiring new space combining talks and creativity at the heart of Stationery & Greetings.

Alejandra Campos, Event Director of Top Drawer, said: "We supported Paperfest 2015 and were really impressed by what had been created. We are committed to continuous innovation and development in support of this sector, and incorporating Paperfest into Top Drawer fits perfectly with our vision.

“It’s a very exciting time for the stationery and greetings market with strong growth year on year, and being able to offer a professional platform to let the event evolve felt like a natural step.

“Most importantly, we are making the event free to attend, developing the format and further adding to the content to make this an even more compelling event within its new home at Top Drawer”.

Paperfest founder and Luxury Stationer, Abigail Warner, added: “Paperfest started life as a niche event with a small number of attendees. Over the course of the last three years, it has become an international event with over 200 visitors and an impressive line-up of high profile speakers, including Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Company and Cath Kidston.

“When the opportunity arose to incorporate the event as part of Top Drawer, I fully embraced it. Paperfest will retain its charm and unique offering, using the same aesthetic, values and high quality of speakers; and I am really looking forward to working with the Top Drawer team to develop more exciting plans which are yet to be confirmed.”

Paperfest will continue to be closely supported by paper connoisseurs, G. F Smith.

The AW 2016 edition of Top Drawer takes place at London Olympia from 11 to 13 September. Visitors can expect an expertly curated choice of new products and
exclusive brands across Home, Gift, Fashion and Craft.
