At the Tendence new-products platform, buyers will find brand-new ideas for gifts guaranteed to make the little ones and their parents really happy. “Products for children are growing in popularity all the time. And they represent a product line that is ideal for supplementing existing assortments. After all, people like to spend money on gifts for children, which should be attractive, practical and of the highest quality possible”, says Nicolette Naumann, Vice President Ambiente/Tendence.

No matter what the destination: a picnic in the park, an excursion to the forest or simply a visit to the grandparents – anyone who travels with children knows that it is best to be prepared and equipped for all eventualities. Hence, a gift that is not only attractive but also practical is a blanket from the new Eco Kids collection by David Fussenegger. With hare and hedgehog motifs or polka dots, the blankets are not only wonderful eye-catchers but also soft, cuddly and suitable for a wide range of uses, e.g., keeping the little ones warm during a trip in the bicycle trailer or car seat, not to mention being used as a play mat or cover. The multi-talented blankets are made of recycled cotton – a blessing for the environment and every car regardless of how full it is.

A drink bottle is essential for family or kindergarten trips, especially if little hands can also open and – no less essential – close it again. A good solution is, for example, the ‘Forest animals’ thermos flask by Rex International. Fitted with a practical click fastener, it is easy to use and suitable for both cold and warm beverages. And, decorated with deer, birds, trees and flowers, it is also sure to put any child in the best of moods.

For little fairies or daring knights on their scooters or bicycles, the Bike Animals by Donkey Products are a genuine highlight. After all, anyone can ride a bike. But how many can ride to school with a dragon or unicorn? The original animal heads fit all handlebars and ensure that even the longest bike tour is an imaginary journey during which time flies.

Children with their hands on the handlebar need a rucksack to carry their drink bottle, blanket, etc. So what about a ‘Natural Life’s Backpack’ from Noi Home + Fashion? Combined with crocheted borders and pompon ribbons, the floral blend of different prints in gypsy look make the rucksack a potential favourite for all little girls. For parents, however, the practical zip-fastened pockets and the comfortable, adjustable straps are likely to be more convincing purchasing criteria.

With children thus equipped, there is nothing in the way of a perfect day out – no matter whether they are still babies or have reached nursery or school age.

Tendence, the international consumer-goods event
Tendence (29 August to 1 September 2015) is Germany’s most international and biggest order fair in the second half of the year and is distinguished by an extensive portfolio of products from the living, furnishing, decorating, gift articles, jewellery and fashion requisites sectors.

Last year, 37 percent of the exhibitors at Europe’s most important autumn trade fair came from 51 different countries.

At this new-product platform, top brands and key players present their Christmas trends and thus offer the national and European retail trade the chance to place follow-up orders for the Christmas season. Simultaneously, exhibitors show their collections for the coming spring and summer season.

Trade visitors are also targeted by Ecostyle, Trade Fair for Sustainable Lifestyle Products in the European Retail Trade, and Webchance Academy, Lecture Forum for Successful Online Advertising and Sales, which are held concurrently with Tendence. Additionally, Eat & Lifestyle, a food and lifestyle event aimed at consumers, will be held on the eastern section of Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre parallel to Tendence 2015.
