Villager Jim’s Signature Story

Elusive wildlife photographer releases new signature print collection

They seek him here, they seek him there, but his identity still remains a total mystery.

Villager Jim has become known as the Banksy of British wildlife photography, with Facebook followers of his Peak District adventures growing by the day.

His award-winning images have appeared on the BBC’s Spring and Autumnwatch programmes, but for now who he is will continue to be a closely guarded secret.

Villager Jim’s most famous work is After the Walk (pictured), which depicts his beloved dog Dilly asleep in a chair. The image has been viewed over 40 million times and, sadly, has also been wrongly used many times.

Well now Jim is trying to prevent this happening again by including a signed canvas version of the photograph in his signature collection, now available in his online shop.

He says: "It’s always been a tad sad for me seeing it be used without my permission and this way I can hopefully get out there who actually took the picture."
