Vintage Playing Cards on The Corrie Cobbles

Gifts company delighted that their special designs have hit ‘The Street’

Coronation Street’s Nick Tilsley has had a tumultuous few weeks.

First there was his disastrous marriage to Carla Connor, then the loss of his restaurant through blackmail – but it seems the soap character’s misfortunes are someone else’s gain.

Gifts company Vintage Playing Cards were delighted to spot one of their designs, ‘Go Ahead Make My Day’, on the show recently, during a scene between Nick and his former spouse, Leanne.

The company specialises in hand-made greeting cards, frames, clocks and stationery made from individually sourced vintage games – including playing cards and 1920s parlour games.

The range also includes personalised letter frames, like the one featured on Coronation Street. You can spell out your own greetings or choose from a selection of famous film and song quotes.

The cards are then double mounted with cream and black, and placed into a stylish wood box frame.
