Yankee Candle Announces Record Trade Show Results

The Yankee Candle Company reports record sales across the spring trade show season in Europe

January 2014 launched the start of the European trade show schedule for Yankee Candle with the new theme ëFour Seasons in One Show. For the first time since the launch of the brand, each trade show showcased a full year of new product launches ensuring retailers are able to plan ahead for the upcoming year.


The new stand design highlights product in various lifestyle settings plus visual merchandising inspiration, marketing support and POS for each season.

HOMI, Milan, Italy reported a record breaking show for the sales team achieving a 250% increase versus the prior year, closely followed by Europe's trend leading show, Maison et Object, Paris, France with a 100% increase.

Making an amazing impact on Hall 5 at International Spring Fair, Birmingham was the launch of the newly designed stand. Complete with dedicated areas for new and existing customers plus themed lifestyle seating areas featuring season relevant product. The phenomenal sales results revealed over a 50% increase on the prior year, achieving an all-time record sales figure for the brand.

A sales growth of 100% year-on-year was achieved at Ambiente, Frankfurt, Germany, closing the spring trade show season. The first trade shows of the 2014 season have proven to be the most successful since the launch of the brand into the European market.
